Jeanne Farewell graduated from Vassar College with Special Honors and General Honors, majoring in Art History. She studied piano at the Manhattan School of Music. Her teachers have included Burton Hatheway, King Bosworth, and Schnabel pupil Jeannette Haien. She has received additional coaching from Peter Serkin and Beveridge Webster.
